Peter Grocock - Captain
 
Pete has always had a passion for the ocean, He started his yachting career in the Australian marine industry as a mate on the trawling boat "Inscription". He cruised the northwest of Australia and the Indian ocean  training fisherman in deep sea trawling and later as a mate on the sportsfishing boat "Tsunami". In his younger years growing up on the Murray river he was a water skiing and jet ski instructor for Murray Water Sports and also was an active member of the Royal Australian Surf Life Savers. He holds the Bronze Medallion since the age of ten. He lives to surf and does so whenever the chance arises. He has a passion for writing music and playing the guitar. He is a fun loving person with much energy and enthusiasm to share.

As Captain, Pete feels extremely fortunate to be in the Caribbean operating such a beautiful vessel, working with professional people and having the opportunity to make the moments unforgettable for anyone who steps foot aboard M/Y MIRACLE. 

 
   

Chef Michael

Michael Dafoe was raised in the West coast Canada on a small Island called Salt Spring in between Vancouver and Vancouver Island . Growing up on the ocean was one his fondest memories and always will be!!

Fishing, boating, beach combing and especially windsurfing were a passion in his heart. His other passion was for cooking and since the age of 11 he worked in his families friends restaurant progressively working his way to a Chef .

Now he finds himself lucky enough to be working onboard Motor Yacht Miracle sharing his years of culinary cuisine with the guests in the middle of paradise

Chireese Barnard - Chief Stew

She comes from a small coastal town in Cape Town, South Africa , called Gordon's Bay, where her love for the ocean ignited. Her passion for traveling, broadening her horizons and interest in different cultures set her out on her journey.
 
Her open heartiness, love for nature and people makes her easy to get along with and helps you feel right at home.
 
She enjoys being active, always seeking new areas to be discovered where she can take up surfing, wake boarding, diving and hiking. She also invests in the natural healing aspects of holistic massaging, yoga and meditation in her spare time.

 
   

Simon Beech - Engineer/ Mate

Simon is 26 years old and grew up in Brisbane Australia. He started waterskiing behind his dad's boat at a young age. While at school he rowed and raced sailing boats. In year 10 he started working on charter boats that cruise up the Brisbane river. After school he started working on a car ferry until 2007 when he left to come over to start in the yachting industry as a deckhand. Since then he has been working his way up in the industry. He did his Yacht Master 200gt in 2009. In 2010 he spent the year back in Australia where he did his Master Class 5, Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 and GMDSS. While back, he was jr. skipper on the car ferry and also worked as a skipper on small tug boats during the Brisbane river floods cleanup. He is now working on m/y miracle as mate/engineer.

 
   

Kelley Mae Gibbs - Stew/Deckhand/Dive Instructor

Born in the United States and raised in Costa Rica , Kelley is a 22yr old adventurous, high spirited girl who if she could, would live under the sea with the fishes! Having helped her parents run the family diving business in Playa Hermosa , Costa RIca she comes to us with 4 years of teaching and 10 years of diving under her belt. Her adventures have taken her to a few of the wondrous diving locations in the world, traveling and working as a Dive Master and Instructor around Central America and the Caribbean working she has been working her way up in the ranks, now holding CPR/First Aid instructor licence and STCW 95' with the aspiration of continuing her education in the diving and yachting industry!

Onboard Miracle you will see Kelley bouncing around from water sports to the interior where she will ensure that you enjoy your holiday to the fullest and go home with a most memorable experience. Feel free to ask her any question about where you are at, what you are seeing, where you are going! If she doesn't know the answer, she will be on top of investigating what the answer is! Sharing her wealth of knowledge about her passion for the marine and terrestrial critters and helping people become aware of their natural surrounding are one of her favorite thing to do.

In her spare time, Kelley likes chilling out at the beach with her toes dug deep in the sand, practicing yoga on the dock, or watching anything on Animal Planet or The Discovery Channel. Kelley enjoys keeping an active life style, traveling and learning about new places to go and explore.
